The MRI is a wide-bore machine designed with your comfort in mind. You will lie down on your back on a table that smoothly slides into the scanner. Once you are comfortably positioned, it is essential to remain still during the imaging process to ensure we capture the clearest possible images. Your relaxation is key, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
While you are in the machine, you may hear a variety of sounds. To enhance your comfort, we will provide earplugs or headphones, allowing you to either listen to calming music or simply relax.
There is no special preparation for the screening however, patients are required to change into a gown and remove jewelry. If you have any implants, please inform our scheduling coordinator.
There is no recovery time needed; you can resume normal activities immediately.
